Flipping as popularly defined... is at best a lazy person's way to riches. At worst it's profiteering on an industry that is "producing" nothing. Even the terms used in flipping are questionable... "Staging"....please...how disgraceful is that? Dressing up a space to make is look nice. There is something that smacks of old time scams in the idea of staging. I can understand how it CAN give ideas on how to dress up a home, BUT it just feels as a good way of covering up inadequacies in the home. Disclosure...I just saw that blonde woman on "flip this house" advising some flippers NOT to open a wall because then they'd HAVE to disclose. What kind of bull is that? Don't Ask don't tell!!!!! In flipping ,it seems, truth does not matter only perception. And seeing the current housing mess, hmm...flippers out there bumped up the prices on NOTHING of real value. hmm..

“Staging”….please…how disgraceful is that? Dressing up a space to make is look nice. There is something that smacks of old time scams in the idea of staging. I can understand how it CAN give ideas on how to dress up a home, BUT it just feels as a good way of covering up inadequacies in the home.

Disclosure…I just saw that blonde woman on “flip this house” advising some flippers NOT to open a wall because then they’d HAVE to disclose. What kind of bull is that? Don’t Ask don’t tell!!!!!

You buy a house, fix it up and make it nice - which requires (typically) hiring people who need to work and ALWAYS need to buy materials which helps the economy and makes it stronger, the buyer gets a nice home that you've improved, you make a profit...it's a win, win, win, win situation.
