How to gain experience flipping houses?
K asked:
I currently work at a large commercial real estate investment firm in Boston doing appraisal, gaining experience about the mechanics of Real Estate. For a living though, I want to flip houses. What do you think is the best way to gain experience doing this, I would like something such as an internship or even being an assistant somewhere. Are there any companies in Boston that do this (I couldn’t find any) or is there a site that I could find people that do it in the area? In advance, thanks for the help!

Kirstyn, learn to swing a hammer. That will be the best experience you could get. Try to get a construction office job, one where you schedule subcontractors.

Whether you’re swinging a hammer or hiring it done you need to buy right. Drive around find a distressed home buy it fix it stage it and market it. It is a lot of work just like having a job if you love to do it then its not. Staging is all the cute stuff that draws peoples attention. Just do it
